Product & Packaging Design – Yee I-Lann X CHAT

Inspired by the concept and aesthetic of Yee I-Lann’s artwork Rasa Sayang, I designed packaging for the collaborative product Candle: Until We Hug Again. The design reflects the emotional depth and cultural narrative of the original artwork.

In addition, drawing from Yee’s visual language, we collaborated with local artisans—sea weavers from Omadal and land weavers from Keningau—to create a set of Mini Tikar Lunch Mats. This project celebrated traditional weaving practices while transforming them into contemporary, functional art pieces.
